CHANGES

Several manufactures have increased their pricing, and/or changed their licensing models, and as such TXT has been forced to also increase their pricing. To help offset the new pricing, TXT has developed a package for workshops that regularly use our reprogramming services, thus reducing the cost per use and increasing the return on investment.

Complete Package

  • Complete Package: cost of 70 keys for 1 year. The package will grant access to 8 manufacturers at a cost of 1 key per reprogramming ;

Ford, GM, Chrysler, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda and newly added Subaru.

  • Nissan which now costs 5 keys, will be reduced to only 3 keys per reprogramming;

  • Mitsubishi, 2 Keys per reprogramming;

  • Toyota does not change and will remain 7 keys for 2 days.

This package is advantageous if the customer makes 35 requests for updates to all manufacturers annually, not including GM, or 12 GM requests in one year.

Transition :

For this period of transition, TXT has developed a plan to pro-rate the cost of the complete package based on the initial date of purchase of all J2534 for the past 6 months. All J2534 purchases prior to that time will not be pro-rated.

Note that TXT seeks to facilitate access to reprogramming and reduce the cost of these reprogrammings for our users. Cost of reprogramming without Complete Package:

  • Nissan going from 5 to 4 keys, drop in 1 key by reprogramming;

  • Mitsubishi, will cost 4 keys ;

  • GM, will cost 6 key for a period of 48 hours. We will create the account, install the necessary software, provide the login credentials to the user, and assist for the first reprogramming;

   o For assistance on any additional reprogrammings, 1 key will be deducted.

   o During normal hours operation.

   o 08 h 00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

  • All other manufacturers:

Ford, Mazda, Chrysler, Honda, Hyundai, and newly added Subaru, will move to 3 keys;

  • Toyota, will cost 7 key for a period of 48 hours. We will create the account, install the necessary software, provide the login credentials to the user, and assist for the first reprogramming;

   o For assistance on any additional reprogrammings, 1 key will be deducted.

   o During normal hours operation.

   o 08 h 00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

  • Kia remains free.

TXT is committed to offer custom diagnostic support as well as provide personalized assistance for reprogramming, and in doing so, changes to the rates are required in order to maintain this personalized support and endure the manufacture’s increased prices.

Note that the pricing changes for the reprogrammings will go into effect 1^st November 2014.
